Hi Ho Hi Ho

It be off to mine ore I go, So many wicked items to make for PvP and PvE and that titanium is imposible to find, When I died killing a mob I got back in time to see an night elf  getting it. not his fault it was a long run back.  spent 2 hours running around northern northrend and got me 4 ore of titanium. a bunch of cobalt. got to kill alot of stuff also. Nothing like the smell of the earth as yer diggin it. Tried to un UP with a group that had 2 that were lower then 80. wiped on the second boss 4 times. ouch!! gona try that again tonight if I can find all 80’s

Poor DK

With the more then abundant number of Death Knights on Tanaris, My dear dwarf DK may head off into pixel oblivion.  A sad state, but there are other classes/races that I would like to try.

As for Hanhar he is working on his black smithing/mining. I cannot find saronite to save my beard. Cobalt is everywhere.  Cooking needs to be raised but so does fishing,  plus I need to make the gold to get the chants to get into heroic dungeons. which will give me new gear that will need chants. ah the live of a Dwarven Paladin Tank.

Like it was as it is.

Way back when.  When I hit 70 and had my PvP gear all chanted up. Yes PvP not PvE. I thought, hey I am ready for Shattered Halls Heroic. Fast forward a few month’s to say, I don’t know. Hmmm last week. I am 80, hey I have some good gear now, this time PvE and a few chants. I can do nexus heroic. Well okay a hunter buddy said, Psst Hanhar can you tank heroic nexus. Well hunter buddy everyone tells me I am not geared enough. I am close but I need about 5k more health 50 more defence and another 2k armor, but I can try. this is a lower level one!

Group enters, Party sweeps ahead of tank, this is because they are geared for it. get to big Frost covered stone giant boss. Now here I would love to give you his name. BUT as I did not live long enough to get the tag’s off of the dwarf steam tank that just rolled over me I cannot tell you. to the groups credit we did get him down to 10% of his health, twice!

But hey, all is not lost. I can still get good brew at the local tavern.

Hit 80

Hit level 80 on Hanhar. Geared up a bit. got some chants. armor is 21k+ with out buffs. Defence is 486.  Want to run in a heroic. but I am told sometimes nicely some times not that I cannot without 540 defence. So I am still working on that. Also going to start working on my PvP set. Not as easy playing a prot in PvP. just have to out last the Ret pally, or Damage over Time spells.  Need to try the new battle ground. I will do that tonight and write up a Hanhar ish post.  Black smithing skill is around 408 and I have to say, I am loving what I can build. both for guildies and my self. most sell real well also.

Side note: Clothy preist is at 68 now. cloth is no replacement for Metal I die more then I think most who play them clothes. Saw a death night gnome.  A walking cambles soup if you ask me. I think the flavor might be mushroom and grave stone.

Violet Hold

First Wicked. I had thought that UK was fun. with Violet Hold I have to say I may take fewer shot’s the them short gnomes.  What make this better then any instance I have had the pleasure of thumping is that the Inn is right close. We grabbed some ale as any good dwarf would. and went in to restore order. from start to finish it was battle royal. Now it was probably a little easier for TCD as Feletaris has passed him in skill and gear. but I kept them interested in me while the others picked em off on at a time. and the healer was on it. Killing dragon kin is always fun. almost as much as Burning legion. And I left not wanting. Got a good cape out of it also. The water boss was interesting, kept splitting up into little water elementals. but took care of that in short order. and then to top it off, we restored order in there of the next five minutes, for I am sure that is all the longer it lasted. but out we went and the in was right there to sit and have a mug. This Dalaran is a dwarfs dream, Next to IronForge.  And mention must go to my new hunter friend Jashj. He was DPS’n like a rogue gone wild. check the dwarven video store for that out this spring.

For the Alliance

Saweet got me a battle bear mount.

The day started well, little drinking and bad guy bashing when what would I hear. Feletartis asking if I want to raid the horde towns.  now that is like asking a fish if he wants to be put back in the water. reply,  Hook a dwarf up! Meet in ratchet. get there and scatter so as not to tip of them dumb orc’s. wait raid leader says head to theramore. okay off to there. then back to ratchet when everyone is together. charge to Orkies and Trollies city. whack Thrall around for what seemed like an hour. Cheer! punk is down. woot. head to Cow city, up the lift throw the tower and whack on their chief. Eat steak. Ho-Raw. off to the forsaken city. Smells bad in sewers, Smells worce in the city. Chase their leader around, she will not stay still. killing re-spawns more then her. well Re-killed her and got out of there for some fresh air.  No off to the pretty boy blood elf’s city.  Nice city took some of the rugs back to Ironforge. found the 2 leaders there. and in short order we cleard all the horde leaders away. I am sure they moruned and cried. they even tried to raid stormwind. Fail!!  now I get to ride my black battle bear and drink good ale.   If you ever hit thunder bluff try the steak. Grass feed and well marbled!

Protect the animals…

Quest to kill poacher’s.  I got a quest to kill crazed poachers. Now don’t get me wrong over hunting of animals is not good, were else would I get the venison to go with my ale.  These druids are doing a good thing. but I kill just one of them scrawny animals because it got all ways of mad at me for my consecration, And the druids get mad at me. It was one friggin dear.  I looted it so a skiller could clean it up. And these dear are the bloodiest things I have ever seen. you cannot even think of washing it off in a river for 2 minutes. And mechanical gnomes. Gnomes robots! What is this world coming to. You know I had no problem helping them gnomes with the smacking around of mechanical versions of them. Then to find out I have to revive them, well it was fun smackin them around anyway.

I saw that litch king, but wouldn’t you know it I had to fight one O him’s minions, and ta boot he gets away while doing this.  I will get him, me and my mammoth mount, strapped down with dwarven stout.

I have worked my clothie from 1 – 34 so far. guild still in need of a healer.  combat tackics are way different. cannot look at my health as I still have 1/4 of it left.  at 1/4 now that means I am soon to be dead!  I plan to get back to hanhar as soon as I get this toon to 60+

One thing our guild is lacking the most is healers.  I decided to create a preist. For leveling I made her a shadow.  I can see why even at level 25 these things are tough to beat. How ever in PvE they are an intersting lot.  Starting with a pally I did not have to pay near as much attention to my health. And if in a pull I got one or two more then I meant I had a fair chance of winning.  It might take me all night to kill them!  With the clothie, I found that I needed to be a little sneaker. Plan pulls with a little more care, and kill them quick. The damage output seems to be good, But is has been a few days since hanhar was level 25.  And having to watch my health more closely.  I am not giving up the plate wearing tank, but I do find this preist interesting.
